Sonia Perez, Associate Pastor, Beltsville SDA Church, Beltsville, Maryland
Sonia Perez was born and raised in Sacramento, California. Her favorite basketball team is the Sacramento Kings.
Pastor Perez earned a Masters of Divinity degree with an emphasis in Youth Ministry from Andrews University, as well as a Doctor of Ministry degree in Youth Ministry also from Andrews University. Her project topic as well as her passion is discipling youth and young adults using experiential ministry. Her desire is to engage others in connecting their head with their hearts through experiential learning.
She currently serves as Youth Pastor at Beltsville Seventh-day Adventist Church in Beltsville, Maryland. Sonia loves traveling and meeting new people. Her hope is to encourage those she encounters into living their purpose with joy and anticipation of who God has called them to be.
